Since the 1500’s the Spanish, English and French have been colonising the Pacific. Each followed by their Churches. Ultimately in search of treasure.
For me the idea was about the connection of advancement and how that is represented. For others it is the disconnection of what is rightfully theirs. In all cases it is attack and defend to be in a position of succession.
